Flavor

or Flav-ugh
flava
Blech!...talk about leaving a bad taste in your mouth! I'm not a fan of those "reality" shows, but I accidently happened upon this most distasteful spectacle one day and almost lost my lunch. Of course that's FlavaFlav and Bridgette Neilsen swapping spit.

I was hoping someone would take on Flava-Flav! I'm with you...it's too weird! But wow...you have a great lineup of very tasty illustrations. In fact, there's enough here for me to have a big hangover breakfast...that is, if I had a hangover:> Good stuff, Rick!

I agree with you. This flavor is not for my palate, but the illustration is definitely effective.

I, too, thought of doing something on Flava Flav! I like your take and remember that moment. True love is blind, I guess.

Nope, don't know these folks. Not in a hurry to meet 'em. Different take on the theme. Interesting. Makes one think. Good job.

Sorry for the American take on this theme...there was/is a "reality" TV show in the States called "The Surreal Life" wherein has-been entertainers are forced to live together for a certain period of time and we, the adudience, get to witness the freak show that develops. One of the freakiest was the unlikely pairing of these two; Brigitte Neilsen was a young Nordic beauty who was married to Sylvester Stallone for a time. Flavor Flav was the front man for a rap group called Public Enemy; I don't know much about him or his music, but he looks and acts like a homeless cartoon character, complete with gold teeth and a Viking helmet.

eeeew! I saw it when it happened...why did you have to remind me of it??? :) So funny that I titled my post for this week's theme "flava-flave" even though it wasn't the name of the art i posted...can't believe this guy has his own show!!! what can i say, the absurdity of reality tv makes me feel more "normal"!
