Hats

Man_Cats.jpg
A book cover for the murder mystery "The Man Who Understood Cats". That's me in the fedora (hat) and trenchcoat with Mittens, the cat from Satan's own litterbox tucked inside my coat. Mittens had issues, to say the least; my daughter looks like she came out on the losing end of a prison knife fight because of this cat's razor claws and demonic attitude. He has since taken up his rightful place to the right hand of Lucifer, may he rest in peace.

I once shared a house with a demonic Siamese, so I know exactly what you mean. Beautifully executed! (The illo, not the cat!)

Thanks to everyone for the nice words. And fossfor, Mittens was a neutered male Ragdoll (from Hell). When he shed his earthly coil to reunite with Bielzebub, we got another neutered male Ragdoll who has been an absolute joy. He's dumb as a rock, but very sweet, and even a bit of a wuss. So I guess it's not the nature of the breed, just that Mittens was a faulty feline.
