Twist(er)

twist.jpg
I know the theme is TWIST, and this is a lame substitution. This started out as a book cover, and now it is threatening innocent beach-goers once again.
Acrylics and Photoshop (I got a little filter happy, I'm afraid)

Not lame at all - very clever.

I could stop thinking about twisters for this topic, either. It counts! And I'm not afraid of your filter use at all. It gives it a stormy feeling. Very nice illustration!

Why is this a lame substitution? Love your style - colours are great and so is the concept.

I love all the filters you used. It really makes it feel like debris is flying!

I like the perspective. It is interesting to imagine a tornado on a beach - the grainy filter gives the effect of sand blowing everywhere. I wouldn't want to be there!
