Rain

I like to ask my students to identify the product that's being advertised in this piece I did several years ago.

Noah_Sea
Give up? Windshield wiper blades! Duh! Everybody knows that Noah and the gang never would have made it if they hadn't tricked out the Ark with the very best wiper blades.

Here's the happy ending...

Rick - I sure wish i could come to Atlanta and be your student! Your work is so exquisite! I really love both paintings, but the light and shadow in the bottom one is gprgeous. You've captured the calm after the storm atmoshere so well. I am sooo glad old Noah had the right windshield wipers...

Not only is this a unique take on this week's topic, it's so cool! Noah looks like he would make a great surfer dude driving an old VW bus.

I was so awestruck at your work, that i literally spent quite a while just staring at it! What great idea and execution! I wish i could be your student too!!!...

And thanks for the feedback on my work. You're right, some variation to my raindrops would make a BIG difference. Looks like you spotted my lazy work and the short-cut technique i used.... making you a great teacher already!

Do you teach workshops as well as at the school? I would take your classes anytime and I live in Atlanta area. :)

I love happy endings! The pair of paintings are wonderful Rick. I got a kick out of the wiper blades, but what I liked most was the polar bear licking Noah's ear.
