The lion, on the other hand, would gladly trade all of his power in order to regain his freedom, so he is the one who is most envious of the other.Rick Lovellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01437378441435183750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13280732.post-1117510231211373762005-05-30T23:30:00.000-04:002005-05-30T23:30:00.000-04:00At first I thought this was taken from a book(it l...At first I thought this was taken from a book(it looked THAT good). I see what you mean about the pic. The lion may envy the freedom or size of the mouse( a mouse is harder to see in the wild). The mouse may envy the safety( in the cage) or strength of the lion.Dynamite Soulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03767272560388421239noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13280732.post-1117506626455551302005-05-30T22:30:00.000-04:002005-05-30T22:30:00.000-04:00this is fabulous...I love the concept of them both...this is fabulous...I love the concept of them both being envious; not being able to tell who is the envious one.

violetismycolorAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13280732.post-1117503533908033082005-05-30T21:38:00.000-04:002005-05-30T21:38:00.000-04:00I know it is confusing. I posted the first two times to my regular website, but then I thought it would be nice to set up a blog for this kind of thing so I could get feedback from people like you. I use whatever means necessary to achieve the look that I’m after, and sometimes that means all traditional, or all digital, or some combination.

I worked exclusively as an airbrush illustrator for years, but since I’ve been teaching I’ve had the opportunity to learn and use many different techniques. This envy piece is a hybrid technique that incorporates many different drawing and painting media, and I chose to make a few adjustments to the final piece after it was scanned.Rick Lovellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01437378441435183750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13280732.post-1117489224822779182005-05-30T17:40:00.000-04:002005-05-30T17:40:00.000-04:00You're obviously very talented and skilled artisti...You're obviously very talented and skilled artistically.
